Laser Hair Reduction
Laser hair reduction offers a safe, long-term solution to unwanted, excess hair for both men and women. Treatment is suitable for the face and body, is quick and results can be seen after just a few sessions.
During treatment a short pulse of light is released and selectively absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles called melanin. The process is repeated until the entire area is treated.
Dark hair has an higher concentration of melanin so traditionally has been considered easier to treat. But the Lynton Motus AY can be used to treat more challenging fine and fair hair because of the use of Moveo technology.
Treatment times can be as short as 10 to 15 minutes depending upon the area treated and hair sheds within 10 to 14 days. Only hair which is actively growing is affected, therefore multiple treatments are required.
Treatment is conducted every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the area treated, until a satisfactory result is seen. The required number of treatments varies, but typically 6 or more treatments are needed for optimum results.
But then typically there are no ingrowing hairs and no rashes. How good is that?
